Ann Christensen will host Science Time in the Children's Library. Sometimes furry, feathered, or scaled creatures make a visit and Ann teaches about animals, their habitats, and our natural world. Science Time is every Tuesday at 11:00.

“The Virtual and the Real: The Metaphysics of Virtual Reality” by Dr. David Chalmers

The public is invited to attend a free public lecture by Dr. David Chalmers, distinguished philosopher and author of The Conscious Mind. The talk is entitled “The Virtual and the Real: The Metaphysics of Virtual Reality,” and will address puzzling questions raised by today's virtual reality technologies. A Q&A and brief reception will follow.
