STROLL THROUGH KETCHUM ON A SUMMER EVENING – ENJOY “TASTES” OF LITERATURE AND GREAT FOOD.
On Friday, August 18th, from 5-7 pm, The Community Library presents LitWalk 2017: Totality – celebrating a community that reads, writes, creates, and connects!
Summer evenings in the Wood River Valley are to be savored – especially when they include a stroll, food, refreshments, and entertainment. During The Community Library’s 2017 LitWalk, attendees will be invited to stroll through Ketchum, enjoying “tastes” of literature and great food at each Library location.
Come to the main Library to experience the StarLab: portable planetarium, learn about the eclipse and get FREE eclipse glasses for the whole family. Visit the children’s library for the Children’s Art Fair and Bloom bookmobile, and get your picture taken dressed as your favorite literary character in the Gold Mine photo booth. Head over to our partners at the Wood River Valley Studio Tour Reception and Chapter One Bookstore for refreshments and activities. Finally, spend some time at Forest Service Park to hear our local authors tell their favorite campfire stories and visit the new Firelines exhibit at the Sun Valley Museum of History.
Activities are free! A $15 food and beverage pass will be available for purchase starting August 11th at The Community Library and at various locations the day of the event. The pass gives access to small bites and refreshments from local restaurants.
